Sweetness
Meditation is listening to the song of the inner Soul, seeing the beauty of the inner Self, smelling the fragrance of the inner Spirit, experiencing the touch of the Divine inner energies and tasting the intense sweetness of the inner God.
— Amit Ray
We are one
The fundamental obstacle is that the individual is glorified in our society. Yet the individual is a figment. None of us are truly individuals. We are all part of a collective whole. Even our uniqueness is part of the collective shuffle and deal. A common DNA is combined to make each unique one of us. We are all the same energy. We are all bits of the same Stars. Individuality is such a sad alter to pray at. What we truly are is a unique aspect of a singular Consciousness. Our unique qualities, our differences, are easy to see (and so occupy our attention). What is far more rare to glimpse is our underlying Unity, this Nothing which we all are.

May it find you now!

The Silence That You Are
All that is necessary to awaken to yourself as the radiant emptiness of spirit is to stop seeking something more or better or different, and to turn your attention inward to the awake silence that you are
— Adyashanti
Alone
We must become so alone, so utterly alone, that we withdraw into our innermost self. It is a way of bitter suffering. But then our solitude is overcome, we are no longer alone, for we find that our innermost self is the spirit, that it is God, the indivisible. And suddenly we find ourselves in the midst of the world, yet undisturbed by its multiplicity, for our innermost soul we know ourselves to be one with all being.
— Hermann Hesse
the stillness of wisdom
A mind that has come to the stillness of wisdom shall know being, shall know what it is to love. Love is neither personal nor impersonal. Love is love, not to be defined or described by the mind as exclusive or inclusive. Love is its own eternity; it is the real, the supreme, the immeasurable.
— Aldous Huxley
From "The Second Buddha"
Nirvana is not another realm or dimension but rather the clarity and peace that arise when our mental turmoil ends, because the objects with which we have been identifying are realized to be shunya [empty]. Things have no reality of their own that we can cling to, since they arise and pass away according to conditions. Nor can we cling to this truth.
— David Loy, “The Second Buddha”
Experience...
Experience is like a piece of cloth, woven with strands of coloured yarn. Thoughts, feelings, sensations and perceptions are like the strands – separate and distinct when we look at the colours but one indivisible whole when we look at the cloth.
— Rupert Spira
Seeing Clearly
What does seeing clearly mean? It doesn’t mean that you look at something and analyze it, noting all its composite parts; no. When you see clearly, when you look at a flower and really see it, the flower sees you. It’s not that the flower has eyes, of course. It’s that the flower is no longer just a flower, and you are no longer just you.
— Maurine Stewart, “Our One and Only Commandment”
One thing...
One thing we do know: Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at this moment.
— Eckhart Tolle
